The Leatherman Skeletool is five ounces and has a 420HC stainless steel clip point/sheepsfoot hybrid knife, pliers, needlenose pliers, wire cutters, hard wire cutters, large bit driver, removable pocket clip, and carabiner/bottle opener.1 That is 7 tools in 1!1 It is stainless steel with a 6061-T9 aluminum handle insert with a stainless steel body.1 It has locking blades and tools, an outside accessible blade for one-handed opening, and a nylon sheath for it that is sold separately.1 It measure 4 inches closed and weighs 5 ounces.
The Leatherman Skeletool CX has the most necessary multi-tool features, 7 in 1.1 It is almost the same as the regular Skeletool except it has a 154CM combo stainless steel blade and a DCL-coated stainless steel handles and carbon-fiber handle insert as well as a stainless steel body.1 The DLC coating is scratch resistant and there is a nylon sheath for it that is sold separately.1 It still weighs 5 ounces and is 4 inches closed.
The Leatherman Charge AL is a 17 in one multi-tool; 154CM stainless steel clip point knife, 420HC serrated knife, regular pliers, needlenose pliers, wire cutters, hard wire cutters, wire stripper, large screwdriver, large bit driver and a small bit driver, scissors, wood/metal file, saw, bottle opener, can opener, and 8 inch ruler!1 It is also made out of stainless steel with 6061-T6 hard-anodized aluminum handle scales and a stainless steel body.1 It has outside-accessible blades for one-handed opening and blades and tools that lock as well as a fixed lanyard ring, quick release lanyard ring, removable pocket clip and a leather or nylon sheath that is sold separately.1 This tool is 4 inches closed and weighs 8.3 ounces.
The Leatherman Charge ALX is basically the same as the AL except the 420HC sheepsfoot serrated knife has a cutting hook, a wire crimper, 2 large bit drivers instead of 1, and it does not have scissors.1
The Leatherman TTi is basically the same as the ALX with a few changes;1 it has an s30V stainless steel clip point knife, a 420 serrated knife with cutting hook, a large screwdriver, large bit driver and is stainless steel with a premium titanium handle and stainless steel body.
The Leatherman Core is a 19-in-1 multi tool.1 It has a 420HC point knife with straight edge, a 420 sheepsfoot serrated knife, needlenose pliers, regular pliers, wire cutters, hard wire cutters, wire stripper, electrical crimper, 5/16' screwdriver, 7/31' screwdriver, 1/8' screwdriver, Phillips screwdriver, wood/metal file, saw, bottle opener, can opener, and an awl with a thread loop.1 This tool is made with stainless steel handles and body.1 The blades and tools lock and the handle is designed for comfort.1 A leather or nylon sheath can also be purchased separately.1
